HWI Gear, Inc. Acquires Masley® Enterprises, Inc. in Innovative Merger for Protective Military Apparel
Groundbreaking technology combined with unmatched quality and fit is next step in hand protection and tactility
Denver, CO – HWI Gear, Inc., industry leader in glove manufacturing and chief supplier of innovative law enforcement and military protective apparel, announced in January 2023 the purchase of Masley® Enterprises, Inc. Masley® Gloves, a 23-year-old protective handwear company, specializes in highly technical, American Made, military gloves. The production operation has moved to the HWI Gear, Inc. corporate office in Denver, CO, with a commitment to manufacture by June 2023.
Quality Masley® gloves will continue to be manufactured with new release inventory items estimated September 2023. Masley®/HWI Gear will proceed with technical performance materials that include flame resistant NOMEX™ knit, GORE-TEX® glove inserts for waterproof, windproof and breathable protection, fuel and POL resistance, SmartSilver™ Fabric and DuPont NOMEX™ Fiber, touchscreen capabilities, and Aviation Approved.
The successful acquisition of the Masley® Glove brand by HWI Gear ensures the continual investment in small business suppliers of protective gloves for the US Military. HWI Gear will continue to focus on high-caliber innovation within the Masley® brand. Together the Masley®/HWI Gear brands will expand the glove industry with a joint focus on customer satisfaction, respect for the end user, and appreciation for the skilled workers constructing cutting-edge protective apparel. Masley®/HWI Gear will continue to design and manufacture exclusive gloves with leading performance properties.
